The recent Windows Update KB5066835 has been found to cause issues with imaging software that affects Schick sensors, Sidexis, and extraoral imaging products. A technical bulletin has been issued outlining the steps to resolve this issue.

Sidexis 4 Freezing After Outlook Update
2/05/2025:
Microsoft released a Microsoft Outlook update (KB5002574) on April 2nd, 2024, that causes Sidexis 4 to freeze after launch if Outlook is installed with no email account configured.
Update: A similar update is now causing the same issue. The bulletin has been updated with alternative solutions.

DSIO - IOSS v3.2 Integration Partners & Process
4/8/2026:
With support for legacy Schick drivers coming to an end, the path forward is integration with Sidexis 4.4 or IOSS (Intraoral Sensor Software) compatible partners. Please review the discontinuation letter and the current list of partners utilizing DSIO Integration.

Schick USB 3.0 Interface Firmware v1.5.140 Update
9/3/2024:
This is a required update for the Schick USB 3.0 Interface for users of 3rd party Imaging software that do not use Sidexis 4.4 with the IOSS v3.2 software.
Supported: Schick 33 and Schick AE with the USB 3.0 Interface.
Discontinuation of CDR DICOM & Related Products
6/27/2024:
Support for Schick CDR DICOM software ended on October 1st, 2021.
Existing support for related drivers and products will end December 31st, 2024.
In continued efforts to offer an optimal customer experience with all Dentsply Sirona product and services, we recommend using Sidexis 4 v4.4.
